Clients must sign a release form upon completion of the photo shoot.
Prices for specific services are listed below.
Time for editing: $40/hour (up to the discretion of the photographer)
Taxes: A 7.0% North Carolina tax fee will be added to all invoices. Additional taxes will be included for out-of-state or country work.
Travel: For sites that are greater than 10 miles from the photographer’s residence, there will be a gas fee for travel ($1.50/mile, or flat rate of $20 if in the Triangle region of NC). Budget for transportation to the location of the shoot is included in the invoice. If the location changes, the invoice will be updated and the revised budget (for distances greater than 10 miles) must be agreed upon before the shoot commences.
For example, if the location is 15 miles away from where the photographer resides, the client(s) will be charged for 5 additional miles of transportation. If the original location was 12 miles away and is now 15 miles away, the additional 3 miles will be included in a new invoice.

- For cancellations, there must be at least a 48-hour advanced notice. Read my Policy. page for more information.
- Consultation: I like to hold space for a 15-minute free consultation to figure out what client(s) are looking for and to make sure we are on the same page.
- Studio rental: The cost of renting a studio will add more to the rates, payment due prior to the photoshoot. Rental fee is the responsibility of the client.
- Private online gallery: I upload all my edited images to Pic-Time.com, which are invite-only (or via shareable link).
Please request my services at least 4 weeks in advance of the date needed.
- Portraits: $200/hour (this includes late arrivals or shoots that take longer, unless otherwise specified and agreed upon by all parties). This price is non-negotiable. Maximum time available is 10 hours in a 24-hour timespan.
Balance must be paid in full upon completion of the shoot.
A 15% non-refundable deposit must be submitted upon explicit agreement of a date and time.
For editing, a minimum of 8 hours for every 2 hours of shooting is reserved (and can vary based on needs of the client). Example for 2 hour shoot with a quote of 4 hours editing: $400 + $320 = $720 USD (price does not include taxes).
Turnaround for completed work: 30-45 days, depending on requests and or circumstances. Priority turnaround (2-3 weeks) requires an additional and nonrefundable $200 fee. Example for 2-hour shoot with priority turnaround: $720 + $200 = $970 USD (price does not include taxes).
- Website and content development: $200/hour for the first 2 hours, $150 for every additional hour (this includes late arrivals or shoots that take longer, unless otherwise specified and agreed upon by all parties). This price is non-negotiable. Two (2) hour minimum.
Balance must be paid in full upon completion of the shoot.

- Staff portraits: $300 base pay + 1 person, $75/additional person. Price does not include taxes.
- Publications (day rate): Lead: $700-1200 / Assistant: $500-800 (price does not include taxes).
This is ideal for work regarding publication in news coverage/articles/photojournalism.
If the photographer is required to hire an assistant, a budget must include compensation for assistant/second photographer.

- Elopement / Courthouse wedding: $940-1,200 + tax depending on the amount of time my services are needed. This price is non-negotiable.
Turnaround for completed work: 60-75 days, depending on requests and or circumstances. Priority turnaround (1-2 weeks) requires an additional and nonrefundable $300 fee. Example for 2-hour shoot with priority turnaround: $940 + $200 = $1,140 USD (price does not include taxes).
Travel and lodging are required if the elopement/courthouse wedding are outside of the Triangle. For sites that are greater than 10 miles from the photographer’s residence, there will be a gas fee for travel ($1.50/mile, or $20 flat rate depending on location). A flat rate can be negotiated if outside of North Carolina.
- Engagement photography: $520 + tax. This price is non-negotiable.
Turnaround for completed work: 30-45 days, depending on requests and or circumstances. Priority turnaround (1-2 weeks) requires an additional and nonrefundable $200 fee. Example for an engagement photoshoot with priority turnaround: $520 + $200 = $720 USD (price does not include taxes).
Travel and lodging are required if the engagement photoshoot session is outside of the Triangle. For sites that are greater than 10 miles from the photographer’s residence, there will be a gas fee for travel ($1.50/mile, or $20 flat rate depending on location). A flat rate can be negotiated if outside of North Carolina.
- Wedding photography: $2,540-5,080 (based on needs of client; taxes not included in prices).
This fee includes compensation for an assistant, time for editing, and possible travel requirements. For needs requiring more than 4 hours, a half hour break and a meal are required for photographer and assistant. Every additional 2 hours includes an additional 15 minute break. Photographer and assistant are available for a maximum of 8 hours/day.
NOTE: I require a >30-minute free virtual consultation prior to booking to see if I suit the needs of the client(s) for wedding photography. During this consultation, we will go over needs and expectations, date(s), time frame, location, COVID safety protocols and expectations, etc. I also like to take this opportunity to get to know the client(s) a little bit to see if we’re a good fit.
A draft invoice and sample contract will be emailed to the client(s) upon completion of the consultation, if approved. This invoice and contract must be reviewed and approved before the final invoice and contract are emailed to the client(s) for signing.
- The invoice will be submitted for signing, which will breakdown the costs associated with service. My invoice will always include the cost of an assistant for the day of the wedding (and any editing work they may need to complete).
- The contract will be submitted for signing, which will breakdown the guidelines for working with my assistant and I. The contract protects both the client(s) and HNTR Photo.
A fifteen percent (15%) non-refundable deposit must be submitted upon explicit agreement of a date and time. Failure to pay deposit within 30 days means that you forfeit your reservation.
Payment in full is required by end of my shift at the event. Remaining balance will be reflected in an updated invoice.
Turnaround for completed work: 4-6 months, depending on amount of requests.
A transportation (gas) fee is included in the invoice. Lodging is required if the wedding is outside of the Triangle.
Time for editing: 24 hours minimum
You will receive an estimate for time for editing and an invoice prior to the shoot. The invoice must be paid in full by the end of the shoot.
